Simpsons Back To Villa

Since the early 2000’s, Ron and Maggie Simpson have volunteered at St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas. They have been tireless supporters of the residents of the Villa. Spending countless hours visiting with residents, Ron and Maggie have touched many lives over the years. The recent pandemic slowed this dynamic duo down - with the Villa closed to volunteers for many months. Like the rest of us, they had to stay home.

The Simpson’s have now been vaccinated and find themselves back at the Villa giving of their time and talents. They could not be happier. The residents they spend time with are very grateful for the company - especially with the Villa being closed to regular visitors.

Ron, a member of the Men’s Fellowship Group, is also on the Villa Foundation Board. For many years he was a key volunteer for the Tuesday night men’s group at the Villa. That group has been put on hold with since the start of Covid-19 - but hopeful to be back. A tireless volunteer, Ron is a respected member of the Dundas community.

Ron and Maggie are fulfilling a retirement dream by offering their time for the residents of the Villa. In fact, they chose Dundas based on the opportunity to serve seniors. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Simpson’s are true examples of how to live your faith.
